Have fun while work remotely

Online meetings are awkward because most people turn off the video and mute themselves. I felt like I was talking to a brick wall. People turn on the microphone when someone tells a joke, laugh briefly, and then turn it off again. It was a boring experience 😭 So we decided to take action.
Have fun while work remotely

Before the pandemic, I was completely exhausted. Every day, I have 3-4 meetings in different locations. Having a personal driver isn't useful because the traffic is so bad that I can't get to a meeting on time. My driver would drop me off at the office in the morning, but I'd have to use a motorcycle (ojeg) to get to the next meeting on time. Otherwise, I will be late πŸ˜” People are more permissive when someone is late. As a result, the meeting had to be extended, and I'll have to rearrange my schedule.

My clients agreed to work online during the pandemic. It is extremely beneficial. I don't have to waste time commuting, and meetings are usually started and finished on time. My coworkers respond quickly to phone calls, chat messages, and even emails. The team meets on a daily basis to share progress and anticipate problems. It was so effective and efficient that I could get up at 5 a.m., read a book until 7 a.m., and bathe my youngest child before going to work. In the afternoon, I can review my eldest child's homework and even take a nap at 3 p.m 🀩

At the same time, I missed my coworker's laughter during our coffee break. I missed out on hearing interesting stories from new people. We made nahtuh.com. A web app that lets us play icebreaker games, find out what people think, and run fun quizzes. At first, we used it for our monthly "town hall" meeting, which hundreds of employees came to. The quick poll is a good way to get people's opinions, and the games and quizzes make us have so much fun that the chatroom stays active and many people don't mute themselves. Now, I can hear the laughter again. And it doesn’t stop there.

We realized that after a pandemic, people would want to work remotely. At the very least, do some hybrid work. As a result, we are attempting to make Nahtuh available to the public. We believe that nahtuh could help us by making our presentations more engaging and entertaining, enabling interactive ways to teach others, and sparking joy during online meetings. In fact, nahtuh would be useful during an offline presentation or training as well, because it can be used to get feedback from the audience and even test people's understanding.

We are continuously improving nahtuh by introducing new features and functionalities. This month, we added a feature that allows you to save an event result after it has finished so that you can download it at any time. We also added a preview feature that allows the host to design and test polls, quizzes, and games before they are played in front of a live audience. The app will then be integrated with Zoom and Microsoft Teams, allowing you to use it within those applications. We also plan to add an interactive whiteboard that is better than the ones that Zoom and Teams already have.

Nahtuh.com is free to use. We'd like to hear your thoughts. Please let us know if you require a feature. We will do our best to accommodate you. Please submit your ideas here: https://gohybrid.ghost.io/backlog/

After all, we believe that remote or hybrid work will improve our lives by allowing us to spend more time with our families and friends. It could only be justified if we could make it more productive than offline work. The key to productive remote work is good engagement.

Nahtuh mission is to increase engagement and productivity during remote work, thus allowing us to have more quality time with our family and friends πŸ‘ͺ

Come with us. Visit nahtuh.com and try it for yourself.
